Job summary

Schill Grounds Management is seeking a Fertilization Manager to lead turf fertilization operations, ensure safe, high-quality service, and drive continuous improvement. The role includes winter responsibilities with snow operations and collaboration with Account Managers on turf quality.

A strong management background, software proficiency (Aspire, Greenius, Office365), and willingness to support snow duties are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years fertilization experience
• 3+ years in management
• Strong knowledge of fertilization applications, troubleshooting, scheduling
• Proficient in Office365; Aspire and Greenius experience preferred
• Must pass a drug test and be able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage turf application program, ensuring high-quality service and operational efficiency.
• Hire and train fertilization technicians to enhance team capabilities.
• Implement safety protocols and enforce company policies; utilize Greenius training tool.
• Use Aspire to optimize scheduling, inventory, efficiency, and profitability.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on turf quality and update quotes.
• Address issues via the Issues System and plan/oversee job execution.
• Liaise between field operations and other company functions; adjust plans for improvement.
• Assist with cost estimates and support preventative maintenance; manage department budget.
• Follow company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
