Job summary

Axia Women's Health in Oradell, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse Fertility - Generalist to coordinate patient care in the fertility setting, from pre-op to post-op, including phlebotomy and injections. Cross-cover in OR for egg retrievals/embryo transfers may be required.

Requirements: NJ RN license, accredited nursing program, and at least 2 years as an RN in fertility; CPR certification and EMR experience are preferred. Flexibility to work at satellite locations and full-time benefits offered.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Active New Jersey RN license.
Minimum 2 years experience as an RN in a fertility setting.
Phlebotomy experience required.
CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

Chaperone patient care during early morning monitoring hours.
Education for patients and injections training.
Handle patient phone calls and instructions.
Cover PACU pre-op and post-op; cross-cover in OR for egg retrievals and embryo transfers.
Assist with prior approvals for medications as needed.
Educate patients and families on follow-ups and self-injection.
Document assessments and patient responses in the EMR.
