Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the andrology and endocrinology labs in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This on-site, full-time role involves accurate processing, collaboration with clinicians, and flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

The position requires at least a high school diploma, 6+ months of lab experience, and strong attention to detail. The role offers benefits and a competitive hourly rate, with on-site work Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; biology/chemistry degree preferred.
• 6+ months of laboratory experience outside coursework preferred.
• Attention to detail, strong organization, patient communication, teamwork, and safety knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory operations, audits, compliance checks, and reporting; include sample collection and handling.
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes.
• Manage cryogenic storage equipment, including inventory of specimens.
• Coordinate transportation of cryopreserved specimens with vendors per regulatory standards.
• Maintain patient records in EMR and process requests.
• Serve as liaison between laboratory, physicians, and nursing teams.
• Organize paperwork, supplies, and data submission; perform additional admin tasks as needed.
