Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the andrology and endocrinology labs in Chicago, IL. This full-time, on-site role collaborates with laboratory leadership, physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure timely and accurate processing that supports patient care and treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities include specimen handling, EMR data entry, and coordinating with vendors. Candidates should have a high school diploma; biology/chemistry degree preferred, and 6+ months lab

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; biology/chemistry or related degree preferred.
• 6+ months laboratory experience outside coursework preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; compassionate communicator.
• Familiar with lab safety and quality control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory operations, audits, compliance checks, and reporting.
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes.
• Manage cryogenic storage equipment and inventory cryopreserved specimens.
• Coordinate transportation of cryopreserved specimens with third-party vendors.
• Maintain patient records in the EMR system and process requests.
• Serve as liaison between laboratory, physicians, and nursing teams.
