Job summary

CCRM Fertility in Chicago, IL is seeking a dedicated Patient Financial Counselor to manage patient finances, verify insurance, and guide families through ART-related costs. The role supports the revenue cycle and patient satisfaction in a growing fertility clinic environment.

The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work weekends/evenings as needed, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year medical billing experience preferred.
• Previous experience in reproductive medicine or Women’s health preferred.
• Prior experience with Athena preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the financial aspects of patient care and support the patient with clear financial guidance.
• Educate patients on financial services and timelines to receive payment from insurance.
• Serve as primary contact for financial matters and ensure adherence to Care Center guidelines.
• Identify pre-certification requirements and obtain required pre-authorization documentation.
• Work with Care Teams to address insurance coverage limits and assist with ART-related financial planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
