Pinnacle Fertility in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Financial Counselor to guide patients through financial processes and explain their obligations. This on-site role supports compassionate care and a seamless financial experience within a multidisciplinary team.

You will manage patient accounts, verify benefits, submit referrals, and assist with payment plans while maintaining empathy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1-3 years in a patient-facing front desk, insurance verification, or customer service.
• Experience with billing, coding, insurance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient accounts with updated personal, financial, and insurance details.
• Monitor billing and coding, ensure accurate claim submissions and regulatory compliance.
• Obtain and enter referrals, authorizations, and predeterminations.
• Verify benefits/eligibility and determine procedure deposits.
• Review financial history, collect balances, escalate unresolved issues.
• Submit daily charge entries for processing.
• Review loan programs with patients lacking insurance benefits.
• Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to communicate correct financial obligations.
• Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
