Job summary

Jacobs in the Northwest Region of the Americas seeks a Design Manager to lead project design teams for multi-year infrastructure projects, delivering them on time and to quality. The role requires coordinating with clients, discipline leads, and external partners across WA state and the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of ports and maritime facility design, design management or design delivery experience.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary teams and projects valued $50M USD or more.
• Experience in Ferry Terminal Projects in WA, AK, PNW or nationally is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior design leadership for multi-disciplinary teams delivering infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate design scope, development and reviews with clients and partners.
• Establish work plans and staffing for project phases.
• Ensure design delivers on time, quality, and budget constraints.
• Lead design risk management and conflict resolution across offices.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
