Job summary

Lallemand Memphis, TN seeks a Fermentation Production Lead to plan, schedule, and coordinate Baker’s Yeast production, ensuring quality and timely delivery. You will lead the fermentation team, optimize processes, and maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.

Responsibilities include forecasting requirements, coordinating materials and labor, and driving continuous improvements while maintaining safety and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Five years fermentation manufacturing supervisory/production management experience.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO programs; strong leadership abilities to develop people.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate fermentation production activities for Baker’s Yeast.
• Troubleshoot fermentation equipment to maximize quality and minimize downtime; initiate maintenance work orders.
• Forecast production requirements and coordinate labor, raw materials, and logistics to meet orders and inventory needs.
