Job summary

United Animal Health is seeking a Bio-Manufacturing Team Lead to guide hourly staff on the shift and drive production priorities in a regulated facility. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in fermentation or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, safety rules, and quality requirements.
• Strong documentation habits for production, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Effective communication with team, supervisors, and cross-functional support.
• Knowledge of GMP documentation, traceability, sanitation, and safety practices.
• Experience leading or mentoring hourly staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support hourly Bio-Manufacturing personnel, clarifying priorities and safety expectations.
• Coordinate daily work assignments across the shift following the production schedule.
• Assign personnel based on priorities, training, and safety requirements.
• Support safe execution of fermentation, downstream processing, and cleaning.
• Serve as technical resource for process execution, troubleshooting, and startup/shutdowns.
• Escalate deviations, quality concerns, safety risks, and equipment issues to leadership.
• Monitor production status and communicate risks, delays, and resource needs promptly.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other teams to maintain readiness.
• Ensure proper shift handoffs and contemporaneous production documentation with traceability.
• Assist onboarding and training of Bio-Manufacturing Technicians and uphold SOPs.
