Job summary

Zoetis in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a entry-level Fermentation Colleague to perform tasks related to fermentation of active biological ingredients. You will learn basic microbiological techniques, operate fermentation equipment, and maintain GMP standards under supervision.

Responsibilities include adhering to SOPs, maintaining safety, and contributing to documentation. The role requires basic mechanical skills and a willingness to work night shift with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic mechanical and computer skills (Windows).
• Learn and perform basic microbiological techniques for fermentation workflows.
• Maintain GMP and safety SOPs; demonstrate good attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits and maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow safety SOPs and MSDS guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Maintain punctuality and reliability in attendance.
• Learn basic microbiological techniques to prepare and maintain cultures for bacterial antigen production.
• Read and comply with SOPs and associated documentation for job functions.
• Train in GMPs and demonstrate understanding and compliance.
• Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills within and outside the department.
• Perform mathematical calculations and metric conversions; assist with process documentation.
