Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Fence Technician who will safely transport, install, and remove temporary fencing at customer sites. You will operate the fence vehicle, inspect tools, and ensure timely service while upholding safety standards and customer focus.

The role requires a CDL Class C and at least two years of commercial driving experience, with opportunities to train and support team members in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's license (CDL Class C).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck.
• Check loads to ensure truck has all material and tools.
• Conduct daily pre-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies.
• Operate fence vehicle to and from pre-designated work sites.
• Install fence panels and locate placement per specs.
• Coordinate workload of Fence Helper and monitor progress.
• Communicate with site superintendent for work orders and updates.
• Record shift data and submit to Fence Manager.
• Train and support Fence Helpers on procedures and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
