Job summary

CDP Fencing LLC in Columbia, SC is seeking a driven Fence Sales Estimator to join our growing team. You will conduct on-site measurements, consult with clients on materials and styles, and prepare detailed proposals and quotes to close residential and commercial projects.

You will stay current on products, maintain a strong sales pipeline, and collaborate with installation crews to ensure timelines and specifications are met, while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in fence sales or construction estimating is preferred.
• Knowledge of fencing materials including wood, vinyl, chain-link, aluminum, and ornamental iron.
• Strong communication and customer service with a consultative approach.
• Ability to read property layouts and measure job sites accurately.
• Self-motivated with good organization and time management.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site measurements and assessments to prepare accurate fence installation estimates
• Consult with residential and commercial clients to recommend fencing materials, styles, and solutions
• Prepare and present detailed project proposals and quotes to prospective customers
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and estimates to drive sales conversions
• Collaborate with installation crews to ensure project specifications and timelines are clearly communicated
• Maintain and grow a pipeline of prospects through networking, referrals, and repeat business
• Stay current on fencing products, materials, and industry pricing trends
