Hercules Fence in Ashland, VA is hiring Fence Installers to join our growing team. This role covers a variety of projects from chain link to wood and ornamental fencing, requiring hard work, safety, and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in fence installation, construction, or general labor preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

As a Fence Installer, you will work on a variety of fencing projects—from chain link and ornamental iron to wood, vinyl, and high-security systems. This is a physically active, hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in a job well done.

What You’ll Do:

• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment for transport to job sites
• Install fences to specification, ensuring quality, durability, and safety
• Dig post holes using hand tools or power augers
• Set and align posts securely in concrete
• Attach fencing materials (chain link, panels, rails, etc.) with precision
• Operate basic power tools and equipment (saws, drills, grinders, levels)
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, or work instructions
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with foremen
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in fence installation, construction, or general labor (preferred)
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-first mindset
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Ability to pass a background check (required for certain projects)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
