Job summary

Hercules Fence is hiring Fence Installers in Ashland, VA. This hands-on, outdoor role involves installing various fence types and following blueprints to meet project specs. You will work with a team, operate basic tools, and maintain safe job sites on every project.

Starting pay is $18-$20 per hour DOE. The position emphasizes physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to pass background checks, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in fence installation, construction, or general labor (preferred).
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic, punctual, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment for transport to job sites.
• Install fences to specification with quality, durability, and safety in mind.
• Dig post holes using hand tools or power augers.
• Set and align posts securely in concrete.
• Attach fencing materials with precision (chain link, panels, rails).
• Use basic power tools (saws, drills, grinders, levels).
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, or work instructions.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
• Collaborate with team and communicate with foremen.
• Follow all safety protocols at all times.
