Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Fence Installation Driver to deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing with a focus on safety and exceptional customer service. You will coordinate with dispatch and customers, inspect equipment, and ensure installations meet project specifications in Texas.

The role requires a valid license, truck driving experience, and the ability to lift heavy loads. Training is provided for forklift operation and utility safety, with weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• DOT medical card required before starting.
• CDL preferred.
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.
• Safety-focused with ability to follow underground utility safety requirements (training provided).
• Forklift operation ability (training provided).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds or more with assistance.
• Weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Operate fencing truck safely and secure loads.
• Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip.
• Inspect tools for safe operation.
• Ensure truck is loaded with equipment for installations.
• Meet with customers to review projects.
• Prepare job sites for fence installation.
• Set poles, install fence, and pull fence per specs.
• Coordinate and inspect Fence Installation Associate work.
• Train associates on safety and techniques.
• Repair temporary fencing units on site.
• Provide onsite moves and delivery/pickup.
• May operate forklift for loading/unloading.
• Assist with other Reliable OnSite Services offerings.
