Job summary

Awardhomecare is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to care for a male client in Monroe, NJ. The role requires a female CHHA with overnight availability (11p-7a or 11p-8a) and a reliable vehicle.

The position offers full-time/part-time hours and a competitive hourly pay of $20. Responsibilities include ADL support, companionship, medication reminders, dementia care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and documenting care while complying with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Must have New Jersey CHHA certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Ability to work assigned shifts and maintain a consistent schedule

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Monitor and report changes in client condition or well-being
• Assist with medication reminders and administration per care plans
• Support clients with dementia or memory care needs
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment
• Document care provided accurately in agency systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands or community activities as needed

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and reliable Female Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide quality in-home care for a male client. We need someone who can work Overnights 11p-7a or 11p-8a . The ideal candidate is dedicated to helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life and has their own vehicle.

Requirements

• Current New Jersey CHHA certification (required)

• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying, and maintaining a safe home environment
• Document care provided accurately using agency documentation systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities as needed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices
• Experience working with individuals with dementia is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans effectively
• Physical ability to assist with transfers and lift up to 50 pounds when required
