Job summary

Butterfly Home Care in Sterling, VA is currently seeking Female Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities across Northern Virginia. Positions available in Sterling and surrounding counties, with both part-time and full-time schedules.

Applicants should be 18+, possess a HS diploma or GED, and be reliable, compassionate, and communicative. Prior DSP experience is not required but valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• No extensive caregiving experience required; willingness to learn encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meals.
• Provide personal assistance according to each care plan.
• Support clients during community outings and daily activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow individualized service plans and caregiver instructions.
• Complete daily DSP documentation and notes.
• Communicate updates with families and care team.
• Adhere to agency policies and state regulations.
