Job summary

Essity is seeking a 3rd shift team member to support Fem Care packaging, webbing, and utility sections in Dover, DE. You will ensure the main packaging area remains operational, operate webbing regrind equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while meeting safety, quality, production, and scrap targets.

Responsibilities include stationing shippers, monitoring changeovers, feeding packaging robots, maintaining materials and records, and following cGMP policies.

Qualifications

• Must maintain safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards.
• Communicate process or mechanical abnormalities to Team Leader and Supervisor for timely corrections.
• Follow Essity safety/cGMP policies and guidelines.
• Overtime/alternate schedules may be required.

Responsibilities

• Pack: Transport and scan shippers, monitor changeovers, fill packaging robots, change film as needed, clear jams, monitor printers.
• Webbing: Feed grinder with rework material, control raw material usage and yields, complete in-process inspections, monitor grinder parameters, move materials with pallet jack, maintain records.
• Utility: Maintain cleaning supplies, collect and dispose of trash, respond to filter alarms, recycle materials, keep area 5S compliant.
• General: Meet safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards; report abnormalities; ensure daily turnover between shifts.

About the Role

Member of the Fem Care Team that will support different areas within FemCare based on production needs. Responsible for ensuring that the main packaging area is operational as it relates to materials and all related equipment. Responsible for operations of Webbing Regrind equipment, and cleanliness of the FemCare area. Ensures safety, quality, production, and scrap standards meet operational objectives, and maintains a safe work environment.

What You Will Do

Pack

Transport and scan shippers to the area.

Monitor changeovers to scan off shippers.

Fill packaging robots with shippers as needed.

Change pesters bundling film as needed.

Change tape into case packers as needed.

Clear jams and monitor generic printers.

Webbing

Feeds Webbing grinder with the rework fiber/cotton material.

Maintains strict control of all raw material usages, and product yields.

Complete required in process inspection per the area requirements.

Monitors grinder operation to ensure all operating parameters are maintained.

Required to utilize manual or automated pallet jack for material/product movement.

Supplies Production lines with necessary raw materials.

Maintains production, batch, and quality records as required.

Utility

Maintain cleaning supplies in dedicated areas.

Collect and dispose of trash and scrap materials.

Respond to Filter house alarm and clean accordingly.

Place correct recycling material in designated areas.

Maintains work area in accordance with 5S standards.

General

Must consistently meet prescribed safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards.

Communicates process/mechanical abnormalities to Team Leader & Supervisor to facilitate corrections in a timely manner.

Follow all Essity safety/cGMP policies and guidelines.

Required to work overtime/alternate schedules as business needs to dictate.

Responsible for daily turnover communication between shifts with fellow Team Members and Management.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting pay begins at $16.41 per hour + full benefits, with the opportunity for higher pay based on experience and qualifications
