Job summary

Essity is seeking a Fem Care Utility team member for the 3rd shift (10:30PM-7:00AM) in Dover, DE. You will support the Fem Care area, ensuring packaging and related equipment run smoothly while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

This role involves handling raw materials, operating packaging tools, and keeping accurate production records. The job requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to work overtime, and adherence to Essity safety and cGMP policies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work third shift 10:30PM-7:00AM.

Responsibilities

• Transport and scan shippers to the area.
• Monitor changeovers to scan off shippers.
• Fill packaging robots with shippers as needed.
• Change pesters bundling film as needed.
• Change tape into case packers as needed.
• Clear jams and monitor generic printers.
• Feeds Webbing grinder with rework fiber/cotton material.
• Maintains production, batch, and quality records as required.
• Maintain cleaning supplies in dedicated areas.
• Collect and dispose of trash and scrap materials.
• Respond to Filter house alarm and clean accordingly.
• Place correct recycling material in designated areas.
• Maintains work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Must consistently meet prescribed safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards.

About the Role

Member of the Fem Care Team that will support different areas within FemCare based on production needs . Responsible for ensuring that the main packaging area is operational as it relates to materials and all related equipment. Responsible for operations of Webbing Regrind equipment, and cleanliness of the FemCare area. Ensures safety, quality, production, and scrap standards meet operational objectives , and maintains a safe work environment .

What You Will Do

Pack

• Transport and scan shippers to the area .
• Monitor changeovers to scan off shippers.
• Fill packaging robots with shippers as needed.
• Change pesters bundling film as needed.
• Change tape into case packers as needed.
• Clear jams and monitor generic printers .
• Feeds Webbing grinder with the rework fiber/cotton material.
• Maintains strict control of all raw material usages, and product yields.
• Complete required in process inspection per the area requirements.
• Monitors grinder operation to ensure all operating parameters are maintained .
• Required to utilize manual or automated pallet jack for material/product movement.
• Supplies Production lines with necessary raw materials.
• Maintains production, batch, and quality records as required .

Utility

• Maintain cleaning supplies in dedicated areas .
• Collect and dispose of trash and scrap materials.
• Respond to Filter house alarm and clean accordingly.
• Place correct recycling material in designated areas .
• Maintains work area in accordance with 5S standards.

General

• Must consistently meet prescribed safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards.
• Communicates process/mechanical abnormalities to Team Leader & Supervisor to facilitate corrections in a timely manner .
• Follow all Essity safety/cGMP policies and guidelines.
• Required to work overtime/alternate schedules as business needs to dictate .
• Responsible for daily turnover communication between shifts with fellow Team Members and Management.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $16.41 per hour + full benefits, with the opportunity for higher pay based on experience and qualifications
