Job summary

The 69th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Texas seeks a trial attorney to prosecute felony cases and manage a caseload across Moore, Dallam, Sherman, and Hartley counties. You will work with a small team, take cases from preparation through verdict, and gain substantial courtroom responsibility with little supervision.

At least one criminal jury trial is required; you must be in good standing with the State Bar of Texas and demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment in a collaborative

Qualifications

• A Texas attorney in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Experience trying criminal jury cases to verdict; at least one criminal jury trial.
• Ability to manage an active trial caseload with little supervision.
• Professionalism, sound judgment, and collaborative approach suited to a small office.

Responsibilities

• Manage felony trial caseload in coordination with the District Attorney.
• Take cases from preparation through verdict with independence.
• Work with a small team of prosecutors, investigators, and staff.
