Grimes County District Attorney’s Office in Texas seeks an experienced felony prosecutor to manage and prosecute felonies from intake through trial, and to advise law enforcement on criminal matters.

Starting salary is $120,000–$130,000 annually, with benefits including medical, retirement, bar dues and CLE support. A J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar license are required; applicants must pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and Texas Bar license.
• Minimum one year as a Texas prosecutor or equivalent; preferred two years.
• Pass criminal background check and drug test.
• Strong communication and docket management skills; able to multi-task.
