TPMG in South Sacramento seeks a fellowship-trained orthopedic hand/upper extremity surgeon to join a collegial team. The role focuses on upper extremity surgery (hand/elbow/shoulder) with an eventual goal of 2 OR days per week and a call schedule of ~1 in 9.
TPMG is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our collegial team in South Sacramento. Team Composition: after this hire 9 surgeons (3 Hand/Shoulder/Elbow, 2 Total Joint (hips/knees), 2 Sports, 2 Trauma)
Collaborative Model: Work closely with 2 experienced Physician Assistants and dedicated specialized Surgical Assistants
Surgical Focus: Upper Extremity, both elective and non-elective. Hand/elbow/shoulder expertise HIGHLY desired
OR Time: eventual goal 2 days per week
Call Schedule: ~1 in 9 (Level 2 community trauma)
Dedicated trauma room time available staffed by Trauma Orthopedic Surgeons to place cases picked up on call the next day or later
Supportive Infrastructure: Strong systems in place for outpatient care and surgical coordination. Exceptional surgical concierge. Excellent peri-op and operating room staff.
