TPMG in South Sacramento seeks a fellowship-trained orthopedic hand/upper extremity surgeon to join a collegial team. Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained orthopedic hand/upper extremity surgeon.
• CA medical license eligibility or licensed to practice in CA.
• Board certification or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide elective and non-elective upper extremity surgical care, including hand, elbow, and shoulder.
• Collaborate with surgical team and assistants; participate in teaching, research, and leadership.
• Maintain high quality patient care within TPMG's physician-led model.
• Manage workload with an eventual OR time goal of 2 days per week and a call schedule of ~1 in 9.

TPMG is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our collegial team in South Sacramento. Position Highlights

• Team Composition: after this hire 9 surgeons (3 Hand/Shoulder/Elbow, 2 Total Joint (hips/knees), 2 Sports, 2 Trauma)

• Collaborative Model: Work closely with 2 experienced Physician Assistants and dedicated specialized Surgical Assistants

• Surgical Focus: Upper Extremity, both elective and non-elective. Hand/elbow/shoulder expertise HIGHLY desired

• OR Time: eventual goal 2 days per week

• Call Schedule: ~1 in 9 (Level 2 community trauma)

  Dedicated trauma room time available staffed by Trauma Orthopedic Surgeons to place cases picked up on call the next day or later
