Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora invites applications for an Open Rank Fellowship Education Program Manager/Program Lead in the Department of Medicine. This principal professional role provides administrative and educational operations support across multiple fellowship programs and collaborates with program directors and GME offices to optimize trainee experiences.

Responsibilities

Create a collaborative and supportive fellowship program coordinator community with regular team meetings, professional development sessions, and communication channels.
Standardize processes, policies, and documentation for recruitment, onboarding, program evaluation, Clinical Competency Committee and Program Evaluation Committee activities, block schedules, rotation agreements, and accreditation documentation for DOM fellowship programs.
Assist in maintaining the budget for centralized fellowship initiatives and support financial coordination related to fellowship programming and events.
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training for new coordinators in the DOM.
Partner with the Vice Chair for Education, Fellowship Program Directors, and GME leadership to create and operationalize strategic initiatives for fellowship education.
Provide project management support and coordination for department-level fellowship initiatives (e.g., DOM-wide fellowship orientation, supplementary training tracks, etc.).
Serve as the primary liaison between DOM fellowship programs and the institutional GME office, including attending and participating in relevant institution-level meetings.
