Job summary

UKG is seeking a distinguished and customer-facing Fellow AI Engineer to define and lead UKG’s enterprise-wide Agentic AI strategy across the product suite. You will serve as the architectural authority for autonomous AI agents, translating innovation into measurable business impact.

Collaborating with customers, sales, product, and engineering, you will shape governance, scalability, and responsible AI while guiding cross-functional teams to production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent industry experience in AI/ML.
• 15+ years in software development and AI with 5+ years in generative AI/NLP.
• Proven cross-functional stakeholder influence, including customer-facing teams.
• Expert Python/Java with cloud platform experience and MLOps for large-scale models.
• Deep knowledge of transformer, diffusion, LLMs, multi-modal architectures; NLP/ML algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise Agentic AI strategy across UKG product portfolio.
• Engage with customers, sales, and solution consultants to shape AI value propositions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security and Legal on governance.
• Provide hands-on architectural leadership for multi-agent systems and tool-use.
• Lead RAG, knowledge systems, autonomous workflows, and guardrails.
• Represent UKG as AI thought leader through publications and industry engagements.
