Job summary

MWI Animal Health is seeking a Feedyard Software Support specialist to assist in configuring MICRO Technology systems for cattle operations. The role includes coordinating installation readiness, data loading, QA testing, and client training on inventory management and FDA compliance.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s degree or 2 years of college, plus knowledge of PCs, databases, and cattle processes. Travel up to 50% across the United States is required, with a Monday–Friday schedule in

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of PCs, operating systems, databases, and software engines.
• General knowledge of cattle and agricultural processes.
• Valid driver’s license and frequent travel in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Configure the MICRO Technology system according to customer procedures and goals.
• Develop specifications and procedures to achieve client goals efficiently.
• Coordinate schedules and complete work orders for system installation readiness.
• Train clients on inventory management and FDA guidance compliance.
• Load data, QA, test historical data, and provide training for new/existing clients.
• Define operating procedures for the Micro Technology system and remote access.
