Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Dispatch/Logistics Lead to assist with small package dispatch activities. You will coordinate dispatch plans, monitor load and equipment, and ensure service, safety, and cost goals are met.

The role involves overseeing yard operations, coordinating drivers with load volume, and implementing modifications such as new customers and locations. Work hours are approximately 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a permanent employee status.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews driver hours to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conducts hazardous materials audits.
• Reviews safety reports.
• Verifies appropriate driver uniforms and adherence to safe work methods.
• Determines training needs to develop staff.
• Provides feedback and support to drivers and dispatch staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations and resolves issues.
