Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to assist and review Small Package dispatch activities, ensuring timely service and safety compliance.

You will coordinate with teams to maintain staffing and equipment, oversee yard operations, and manage trailer inventory and load planning. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to lift 70 lbs, and flexibility to work up to five days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs. /32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Reviews dispatch activity to ensure timely service and compliance with safety and cost goals.
• Coordinates with teams to ensure dispatch plans are executed efficiently with staffing and equipment.
• Oversees yard operations, driver coordination, trailer inventory, and load planning.
• Reviews and analyzes dispatch and service reports and schedules; updates plans as needed.
• Provides feedback and support; conducts performance evaluations and addresses issues.
