Job summary

UPS is seeking a dispatch supervisor to assist and review Small Package dispatch activity, ensuring timely service and adherence to safety and cost goals. You will coordinate with teams to implement dispatch plans, manage staffing and equipment, and oversee load/tractor planning and yard operations to align with planned trailer locations.

The role involves reviewing reports, addressing performance issues, and supporting continuous improvements in dispatch efficiency and driver coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work flexible shift hours and on the weekends.
• Experience supervising employees is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Reviews driver hours to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conducts hazardous materials audits.
• Reviews safety reports.
• Verifies appropriate driver uniforms and safe work methods.
• Determines employee training needs to produce development plans.
• Conducts performance evaluations and resolves issues.
