Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Mill Operator to perform basic daily feed mill operations, including mixing and loading poultry feed for multiple farm locations, and applying Safe Food/Safe Feed practices to all activities.

You will assist with ingredient inventory, preventative maintenance, and maintaining a clean, safe mill environment, with back-up support to the Mill Manager as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; agricultural experience preferred and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Agricultural experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a feed mill preferred.
• Training in preventative maintenance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and loading poultry feed for delivery to multiple farm locations.
• Apply knowledge of SQF and Safe Food/Safe Feed practices during all mill activities.
• Receiving and maintenance of ingredient inventories.
• Preventative maintenance and repair of mill and related equipment.
• Maintaining a clean safe mill environment.
• Provide back-up support to Mill Manager as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
