Job summary

Wayne Farms McComb is seeking a Feed Mill Utility Associate to perform housekeeping, cleaning, and logistics tasks ensuring a safe, secure, and efficient work area. Responsibilities include managing visitor and truck access, logging inspections, and assisting with receiving feed ingredients.

The role requires the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and MVR requirements.
• Ability to complete required logs and forms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping procedures in the Feed Mill and conduct Grounds maintenance.
• Control access of staff, visitors, and trucks entering the property and verify credentials.
• Review and log inspection paperwork for trucks and direct traffic to cargo areas.
• Understand basic animal food safety and personal hygiene as it relates to animal food protection.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE to support a zero-accident culture.
• Assist with receiving duties of feed ingredients when required.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
