Job summary

Hubbard Feeds Inc in Iowa is seeking a Utility Operator to operate and maintain production equipment for animal feed and supplements. You’ll help ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production while following safety and quality standards.

The role requires basic data entry, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 55 pounds. Experience in feed processing is preferred, and the facility offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must operate and maintain production equipment.
• Follow safety and quality standards with attention to detail.
• Communicate well with team and leadership.
• Basic computer skills for record keeping.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50–55 pounds.
• Problem-solving to troubleshoot production issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment.
• Be a reliable team member with prompt attendance and strong performance.
• Communicate with team members and leadership to improve processes.
• Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products.
• Strictly adhere to safety guidelines throughout the facility.
• Perform all processes per SOPs, including operation of mixing, bagging, spray drying, fluid bed drying and powered lift equipment.
