Job summary

Seaboard Foods, a leading pork producer and employer in the region, invites applications for a Feed Mill Operator in Hugoton, KS. You will learn the feed mill process, assist production and maintenance, and support batch and loadout activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will gain experience with cGMP and FSMA, handle routine paperwork, and collaborate with a diverse team. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write reports and business correspondence
• Ability to present information to managers, employees, and visitors
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be able to follow company policies and procedures
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Learn the material process flow of the feed mill from receiving to loadout
• Cross-train in production and maintenance and operate plant automation
• Plan production needs for each operation area
• Maintain cleanliness of all feed mill areas and adjacent grounds
• Follow cGMP and FSMA protocols in all duties
• Handle paperwork and data entry for material flow as required
• Adhere to safety rules and standard operating procedures
