Job summary

Seaboard Foods is seeking a Feed Mill Engineering Technician in Leoti, KS to perform preventative and downtime maintenance of industrial layouts and production equipment. The role covers electrical, mechanical and boiler operations, installs and repairs machinery, and collaborates with engineering staff to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, welding, pipe fitting, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (or 2 years of related experience).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and reports.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical and boiler operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe and maintain electrical, mechanical, and boiler equipment in the feed mill.
• Perform preventative and downtime maintenance per engineering staff directions.
• Repair and install machinery, weld, fabricate, pipe-fit, insulate, and balance equipment.
• Review blueprints and wiring diagrams to test and troubleshoot problems.
• Maintain maintenance logs and cost estimates for equipment.
