Job summary

Cooper Farms seeks a Senior Feed Operations Manager to lead feed manufacturing and delivery across Mercer and Darke County, OH. You will develop Feed Mill Managers, improve safety and quality, and drive operational and financial performance to support growth.

This full-time role requires 7–10 years in feed manufacturing or related operations, strong leadership, and collaboration across Production, Transportation, Purchasing, Nutrition, and Maintenance.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in feed manufacturing, agriculture, production, or related operations.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred; a valid CDL is also preferred but not required.
• Proven leader with experience managing multiple departments, locations, or operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to use operational and financial information to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations across multiple feed mills, directing Feed Mill Managers and teams.
• Develop leaders through coaching, mentoring, accountability, and succession planning.
• Improve safety, quality, and performance by setting goals and monitoring results.
• Ensure feed operations meet safety, quality, regulatory, and customer service standards.
• Manage costs, resources, budgets, capital projects, and long-term planning.
• Collaborate with Production, Transportation, Purchasing, Nutrition, and Maintenance to solve problems.
