Tyson Foods, Inc. seeks a Feed Mill Supervisor to oversee daily mill operations, manage staff, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate feeding, storage, and distribution while partnering with QA, maintenance, and live production teams to optimize processes and meet production goals. The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of feed formulation and quality control, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced poultry feed environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s in agriculture, animal science, feed manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in feed mill ops or similar production environment preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of feed formulation, processing, and quality control.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for animal feed production.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for feed mill equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Production Management: Supervise and coordinate feed mill operations to ensure efficient feed production.
• Team Leadership: Manage and train feed mill operators and production staff; promote safety and teamwork.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure FDA/USDA/FSMA compliance and testing of ingredients.
• Maintenance & Equipment Oversight: Coordinate maintenance and troubleshoot equipment; recommend upgrades.
• Inventory & Logistics Management: Monitor raw materials and finished feed; optimize storage and distribution.
• Safety & Environmental Compliance: Enforce safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Track production data and drive efficiency improvements.
