Job summary

Wayne Farms in Palestine, TX seeks a production mixer to prepare and route feed ingredients according to batch formulas, while keeping equipment clean and compliant with FSMA and GMP guidelines. The role requires basic math, elementary computer use, and the ability to work unsupervised.

You will perform routine maintenance, monitor equipment, complete logs, and uphold safety and quality standards as part of a full-time evening shift (Mon-Fri, 1:00pm-9:30pm) with on-the-job training and benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math (percentages, area, volume).
• Basic computer knowledge and usage abilities.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Effective communication and legible reading/writing.
• Honesty and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Mix and route feed according to formulas, procedures and schedule.
• Coordinate batching schedule with personnel to maximize efficiency while following FDA, GMP and QC procedures.
• Complete and maintain reports and logs neatly.
• Monitor and adjust equipment.
• Operate settings to deliver a high quality product.
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Keep designated areas clean.
• Comply with company policies and FSMA regulations and laws.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
