Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and conveyor systems in our feed mill. You will read blueprints, diagnose issues, and perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex problems, repairing electrical and control systems, and training entry-level staff while complying with safety policies. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Industrial machinery maintenance experience (min 1 year) required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• English communication skills required.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Readiness to operate tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Identify root causes and perform repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies.
• Train entry level employees as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
