Job summary

JBS Foods seeks a maintenance mechanic for the Falkville, AL feed mill to maintain, repair and replace machinery to keep operations at peak capacity. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and/or replace parts of machinery to keep the feed mill operating at maximum capacity.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on feed mill equipment.
• Detect potential mechanical and electrical problems and document work performed.
• Interpret drawings and manuals to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery.
• Establish preventative maintenance programs according to manufacturer recommendations.
