Job summary

Pilgrims is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Tuscumbia Feed Mill. You will be assigned a maintenance area and must demonstrate mechanical aptitude, safety discipline, and quality workmanship in multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities include wiring motors, reading and following schematics, diagnosing faults, performing preventive maintenance, welding, cutting, and keeping the work area clean. You will return equipment to production quickly and document repairs for the maintenance log.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and safety discipline across multiple areas.
• Read and follow procedures and schematics to diagnose faults.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe work habits in a mill environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain mill equipment to return production to speed.
• Perform welding, cutting, and basic fabrication as needed.
• Inspect, test, and document maintenance actions for the area.
• Respond to calls and cover other calls when necessary.
• Keep tools and work area clean and organized.
