Job description

Fee Mill Maintenance Tech$20-$25/hr Depending on Experience

Monday-Friday, 10 hour shifts

This is a Direct Hire opportunity!

A pork production company in Emmetsburg, IA that build their culture on care. Is looking for a Feed mill Maintenance Tech to perform preventative maintenance on feed mill related equipment as well as repair and install equipment.

Responsibilies:

• Repair any mechanical function in the Feed Mill
• Detect any potential electrical or mechanical problems
• Check that equipment is functioningproperly
• Prepare written and actions taken to correct equipment problems
• Respondto mechanical or electrical breakdowns & handle emergency situations
• Lubricateequipment
• Perform preventative maintenance according to a posted schedule
• Complete appropriate paperwork & reports
• Diagnose and perform repairs on feed trucks, pickup and other company fleet

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools
• Knowledge of conveyors, motors, bearings, belts, and gear drives
• Ability to read equipment manuals and diagrams
• Good problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently
