Job summary

Aventure Staffing is looking for a Feed Mill Operator in Sioux Center, Iowa. This temporary position has the potential to become long-term. Responsibilities include verifying ingredient quality, batching feed, and assisting with loading. Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably some manufacturing experience. Pay starts at $17-$18/hr with benefits including paid holidays, PTO, and medical coverage. Shifts available include day and night.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• Preferable experience in manufacturing or mixing.
• Ability to bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify quality of ingredients, weigh ingredients and additives.
• Batch feed under the feed mill manager's direction.
• Help load complete feed onto trucks.

A local agronomy business in the Ireton, IA area is searching for ambitious, punctual, and work-hardened individuals to join their team as a Feed Mill Operator. The Feed Mill Operator assists in the management of the mill and process of storing and mixing of quality feed for livestock.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify quality of ingredients, weigh out drugs and by-hand additions.
• Batch feed in feed mill manager.
• Help load complete feed on truck.
• Operate pellet and roller mills where applicable and necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Prefer previous manufacturing or mixing experience.
• Ability to bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. frequently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
