Pilgrim’s in North Carolina is seeking a Feed Mill Maintenance Mechanic / Unloader on 1st shift to perform preventative maintenance on feed-mill equipment and to repair and install systems as needed. The role requires detecting mechanical and electrical issues, maintaining accurate records of work performed, and complying with all safety and regulatory requirements while supporting continuous production.

Experience with lift trucks and working at heights is preferred; a high school diploma is

Qualificações

• Minimum two years in feed mill maintenance or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds, climb ladders and operate a pallet jack with 2000 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights up to 200 feet and in confined spaces.

Responsabilidades

JOB SUMMARY:

The Feed Mill Maintenance Mechanic must be able to perform preventative maintenance on feed mill related equipment, as well as repair and install equipment as necessary. The Feed Mill Maintenance Mechanic must be able to detect potential mechanical and electrical problem, maintain the required written records including work performed, corrective actions and installed replacement parts. Feed Mill Maintenance Mechanic must work in compliance with all company policies, Local, State and Federal policies, laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Repair any mechanical malfunction in the feed mill
• detect any potential electrical or mechanical problems
• check that equipment is functioning properly
• Prepare written actions taken to correct equipment problems

• Operate a forlift
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• High school degree or equivalent

• Ability to work at heights of 200 feet and in confined spaces
