Job summary

Pilgrim’s is a leading global food company seeking handling and processing roles at its Live Oak, Florida feed mill. The position focuses on producing high quality feed safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, receiving ingredients, and supporting maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities include operating forklift for ingredient handling, FIFO organization, and flexible scheduling. The role requires physical endurance and adherence to safety and immigration checks as outlined.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the inside and outside of the Feed Mill.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, washing, and dusting as needed.
• Keep mill grounds clean by mowing, weeding, and picking up trash.
• Receive bag ingredients into the mill warehouse using a forklift and organize for FIFO.
• Assist maintenance as needed and perform duties of all hourly positions in the feed manufacturing process.
• May be required to perform other duties and notify supervisor of equipment or process issues.
• May clean beams/equipment at heights using a harness.

Operations Management SupportLive Oak,Florida

To produce and deliver maximum quality feed safely and efficiently.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the inside and outside of the Feed Mill at all times. Sweep, mop, wash, and dust as needed.


• Keep all grounds of the Feed Mill clean at all times by mowing, weed – eating, and picking up trash and spilled feed as needed.


• Place trash, waste feed, etc. from the mill into outside container or landfill trailer for disposal.


• Dust beams, equipment, and railings as needed.


• Paint railing, beams, and walls as directed by supervisor.


• Receive bag ingredients into the feed mill warehouse using a fork lift.All bag ingredients should be neatly arranged for counting and to be used on a first-in, first-out basis.Tape all broken bags to prevent spillage and product contamination.


• Assist maintenance as needed to perform different job duties as directed by supervisor.


• Must perform duties of all hourly positions in feed manufacturing process during

1. May be required to perform other job duties as required and deemed necessary by supervisor.


2. Notify supervisor of any problems with equipment and/or processes.


3. May be required to clean beams and equipment at high altitudes. (Using a harness)

Job Requirements

Required to stand and walk throughout the day. Required to hold arms in front of body throughout the period of the workday. (Arm extension may exceed 15 inches) Repetitive motion with hands, wrist, and arms.Must have good communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
