Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Warehouse/Dispatch associate for the 1st shift in Tennessee. You will receive orders, load and dispatch trucks, and maintain safety and Tyson policies. You must handle physical tasks in all weather and conditions, including dusty environments, with lift limits of 60–100 lbs with assistance.

Ideal candidates have basic math, communication, and clerical skills; DOT knowledge and weigh master certification are a plus. Tyson offers PTO, 401(k), and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading/writing to receive and document orders.
• Strong communication; ability to interact with drivers, service techs and growers.
• Basic mechanical and computer skills and familiarity with safety procedures.
• Ability to certify and maintain PIT and Weigh Master certifications; respirator certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Read and write to receive and document orders.
• Schedule loads of feed by creating and organizing feed tickets for records.
• Dispatch loads and distribute among drivers within DOT rules.
• Respond to calls from service techs and growers and maintain relationships.
• Follow safety procedures and Tyson Health & Safety protocols.
