Job summary

Tyson Foods in Humboldt, TN is hiring for a dispatcher role responsible for receiving orders, loading, and dispatching trucks while maintaining a safe work environment.

The position requires the ability to work in all-weather conditions, lift up to 60 lbs (100 lbs with assistance), and comply with DOT rules. 1st shift, pay $17.70/hr, with overtime and standard Tyson benefits as applicable.

Qualifications

• Basic math, communication, mechanical, and computer skills required.
• PIT certification and Weigh Master certification required where applicable.
• Respirator certification required where applicable (must be clean shaven).
• Ability to read and write to receive and document orders.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and 100 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders, load trucks, and dispatch loads.
• Schedule loads of feed by creating and organizing feed tickets.
• Distribute loads among drivers within DOT rules and regulations.
• Maintain good housekeeping in service areas and keep records up to date.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and service technicians as needed.
• Follow Tyson Health and Safety protocols and biosecurity guidelines.
