Mary’s Tack & Feed is seeking a reliable Feed Store Associate / Driver in Del Mar, CA. This full-time role involves helping customers, stocking feed, loading trucks, and eventually making local deliveries to barns in the area.

You’ll handle 50‑lb feed bags and hay bales up to 80 lbs, stock shelves, assist with deliveries after training, and maintain a clean, organized feed area while providing friendly service to our customers.

• Reliable transportation and clean DMV record.
• Willingness to learn and perform deliveries after training.

Responsibilities

Feed Store Associate / Driver

Full-Time | Mary’s Tack & Feed | Del Mar, CA

Mary’s Tack & Feed is looking for a reliable, friendly, hardworking Feed Store Associate / Driver to join our team.

This is a hands-on job. You’ll be helping customers, stocking feed and bedding, loading trucks and customer vehicles, and eventually making local deliveries to barns throughout the area. If you like staying busy, working with people, and don’t mind getting a little dusty, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

• Help customers in the feed department and take feed and delivery orders over the phone
• Load and unload delivery trucks, including 50-lb feed bags and hay bales weighing up to 80 lbs
• Conscientiously and safely load customer vehicles
• Stock feed, hay, bedding and other products in their assigned areas
• Assist with local customer deliveries on the feed truck
• After successful training, make deliveries to assigned local barns
• Restock store shelves and keep the feed area organized
• Help with merchandising, tagging, cleaning and pest control
• Answer customer questions and provide friendly, helpful service
• Pitch in wherever needed to keep the store running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

• Able to regularly lift and handle 50-lb feed bags and hay bales up to 80 lbs
• Friendly,Polite,dependable and comfortable talking with customers in person and on the phone
• Willing to work some weekends — we are open every day and need feed department coverage every day
• Able to work shifts that may start as early as 8:00 a.m. or end as late as 7:00 p.m., depending on business needs
• Basic horse knowledge is a plus, but we can teach you what you need to know
• Enjoy working around horses and their people—or at least willing to learn why everyone has opinions about hay!
• Clean DMV record required. With successful training, you’ll become a delivery driver within approximately 2–3 months. Our insurance requires a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from work
