Job summary

Tyson Foods in Gonzales, TX is seeking a milling/batching operator for the 3rd shift. You will operate the milling process to combine feed ingredients per a formula and deliver a finished product to farms.

Requirements include at least three months of experience with processing equipment used in food processing, strong attention to quality and safety, and the ability to maintain logs, manage inventory, and work closely with teammates to ensure efficient production.

Pay Rate - $ 17.50

• Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure feed meets specified standards and report any discrepancies.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of feed ingredients and report inventory levels.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of batching equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Keep detailed logs of batching activities, including ingredient usage and batch numbers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient feed production and address any issues that arise.

Requirements

• At least three (3) months of experience with processing equipment used in food processing (i.e. grinders, blenders, knife sharpening tools) OR 3 months of experience in the operation and maintenance of machines like slicers, etc.

Rehire Criteria:

• Must have completed 365 days since the last termination date.
• Termination Limit: if terminated 3x times or more, not eligible at this location.
