Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to execute and lead advanced security assessments for client information systems, with a primary focus on FedRAMP. You will apply deep technical and compliance expertise to evaluate, advise, and guide clients through FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF requirements.

You will also mentor team members and support secure cloud architecture and risk mitigation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in FISMA-based security Assessment and Authorization activities.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain an active SECRET clearance.
• Strong background in security engineering, secure architecture, system and network security, authentication protocols, cryptography, and application security.
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing, FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST RMF, and NIST SP 800-series.
• Experience with Nessus/ACAS, SCC, DISA STIGs/STIG Viewer, NMAP, and Acunetix.
• Willing to travel up to 25% and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to perform interviews and lead assessment discussions.
• Provide expert guidance and solutions on security engineering and compliance.
• Conduct security assessments and evidence collection to evaluate standards compliance.
• Perform vulnerability scanning and analysis with Nessus, ACAS, NMAP, and similar tools.
• Identify remediation actions and assist with mitigation strategies.
• Lead cross-functional discussions and produce clear customer-facing reports.
