Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba is seeking a Federal Work Study Graphic Design Assistant for the 2026-2027 year. The role supports the Marketing department, assisting the Graphic Designer with photo library organization, posters, and printed materials around campus.

Ideal candidates are Bay College students enrolled in the work-study program, committed to maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress and able to work 10–15 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Assist Graphic Designer with photo library and organization
• Display posters and flyers around campus on bulletin boards and public spaces, and within community
• Fold, organize, and deliver programs and other printed materials to departments around campus
• Assist Graphic Designer with graphic projects using graphic design software
• Assist taking photos at college events and for marketing projects
• Assist with graphic displays and promotional items
• Assist with social media posts and support
• Video and testimonials around campus of students and activities to be shared on social media.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a Bay College student in the work study program to be considered for this position. Eligibility for work-study is determined after you file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Work-study requires that you are degree seeking and enrolled in a minimum of one credit that applies towards the semester you are employed.
• You must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Preferred Qualifications

Months Per Year Work Hours Average 10-15 hours per week, dependent upon your work study award. Supervision Exercised Supervision Received

Works under the direction of the Creative Services Specialist.
