Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a UX Researcher to join one of our federal programs, conducting research and usability studies to reveal customer needs for our products. You will work with cross-functional teams, synthesize insights, and help shape user-friendly, accessible, and seamless experiences across projects.

You will perform stakeholder interviews, plan research activities, and deliver oral and written presentations while driving best practices and templates for research deliverables.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional UX research experience.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust is required; strong storytelling to present insights to stakeholders.
• Experience with diverse UX research tools, remote testing tools, and online collaboration tools.
• Demonstrated experience planning and executing end-to-end qualitative and quantitative user research.
• Ability to select appropriate research methods based on goals and constraints.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence decision-making through evidence-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Define problems with cross-functional teams and drive user-centered product decisions.
• Support strategic thinking grounded in client and user discovery and research.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, market research, and competitive analysis.
• Collaborate in agile development with cross-functional teams through discovery, design, and delivery cycles.
• Create research plans, personas, journey maps, and artifacts communicating user needs.
• Inform future-state user flows, IA, sitemaps, and wireframes with research insights.
• Plan and facilitate workshops with stakeholders and users.
• Document research and testing, including notes, audio, video, and reports.
• Contribute to best practices, templates, and workflows for research deliverables.
